Anguilla Beaches.



Anguilla has not suffered from the impact of mass tourism or the overdeveloped infrastructure that other places in the Caribbean have had to get used to. Being 28 km long and 5 kms wide at its widest point, it has a surface which is too arid for cultivation.

Therefore, all the efforts to produce cotton, salt and tobacco in colonial times were unsuccessful, which prevented the island from developing, this being the best fate Anguilla has probably had, as tourism has only just begun in this area
