Martinique Beaches.

Martinique is an overseas department of France, with all the benefits of being part of the European Union, and combining this with the Caribbean culture, idiosyncrasy and music in an extremely beautiful environment, which results in probably the most elegant beaches in the world.

Martinique is big enough to have mountains, rivers, woods, and large flower gardens, and of course, coral reefs and impressive coves which stand out from the best Carribbean beaches. In fact, the famous Fort de France, situated on a lovely bay, and Caravelle peninsula are one of the most beautiful places on the island, offering more than 100 coves which make the south of Martinique an area with the best beaches for yachting. Perhaps the best beach in Martinica can be found in Salinas, in the most southern part of the island, with its outstanding white sand, its lush veget ation and its incredible crystal water

Colombia Beaches.

Colombia is located on the north of South America, with coasts bathed to the north by the Caribbean and to the west by the Pacific Ocean. The coast in the Caribbean Sea offer some of the best beaches in the world and here we have make a selection of them

Its physical geography is divided into: the east part, which is a great plain irrigated by the tributaries of the Orinoco and the Amazon rivers, and the central and western parts, where the Andes, 4,000 meters high, branch out into three parts separated by deep valleys, and there's also a big part that's mainly occupied by the Amazon jungle. Its capital city is Bogota.

The hottest spots are: Cartagena de Indias, which is one of the most fantastic old cities, declared Patrimony of Humanity, and it has the boardwalk to the Rosario Islands, where you can view the Archipelago Nuestra Señora del Rosario, with more than 20 islands, islets and keys. Another worth mentioning beaches are Santa Marta, with its fabulous white sands and modern hotels, San Andres, Providencia, the San Bernaro Archipelago and the Mangle Islands.

Bahamas Beaches.

Guadalupe Beaches.

Named as "the Butterfly" because of the shape of its two main islands, Guadalupe is a small archipelago with huge geografical contrasts. The islands Marie-Galante, La Desirade and Les Saintes are not developed but you can appreciate the remains of a once rich economy based on sugar cane plantations.

The beaches in Guadalupe are splendid and there are also quiet bays which are valued for their privacy and nearness to beautiful coral reefs which became well known thanks to the work of Cousteau. They are among the best beaches in the world.

Grande Terre is the east wing of the "butterfly", offering a flat landscape, with the exception of the cliff in Saint Francois, which, in the distance, appears to be a group of rocky castles, and where you can find the only nude beach in Guadalupe.

Curacao Beaches.

Located on the South West of the Caribbean, Curacao is the biggest and most populated island of the West Indies, and is just about 50 kilometers from the Venezuelan coast.

Out of more than 40 beaches we can find in Curacao, there are public and private ones superior to the public ones in terms of the maintenance of them.

They also have better service, because the hotel resorts are the ones that care for them.

The official language of Curazao is Dutch, but English and Spanish are spoken as well. In a dry climate like Curacao's, the plants have readapted their stems and roots to survive, the flora covers more than 40 species, and you must be aware of a tree called manzaliña, with a very poisonous fruit.

Trinidad Beaches.

Trinidad, only 12 km from Venezuelan beaches, has the most South American atmosphere in the Caribbean; in fact, it does not resemble to the rest of the Caribbean as it is highly industrialized and densely populated, specially in Port of Spain.

But Trinidad has some of the best beaches in the world to offer to its visitors, thanks to the amazing crystal water of the Caribbean Sea and the sandy coasts framed by idyllic tropical palm trees.

Saint Lucia Beach.

Every square centimetre in Saint Lucia is wreathed in myths and legends. The amazing Marigot Bay is where the British Navy cheated the French Navy by camouflaging their ships with the palm trees of the coast, and is one of the most spectacular beaches in the world. The island is a combination or British and French culture immersed in the Caribbean atmosphere where tourism, though important, is not the main economic resource as in the majority of the other Caribbean beaches.

A developing environmental policy controls the giant hotel constructions of the past, so as to protect the amazing coral reefs and the striking topography of Saint Lucia. Not only does the island offer fantastic beaches, waterfalls, lakes, orchid rivers, valleys, woods and birdwatchig centres, but it also enables you to observe the beautiful turtles coming on shore to mate on Grand Anse, one of the best beaches in Saint Lucia.

Barbuda Beaches.

Barbuda has the incredible particularity that, while on one side of the island the Atlantic Ocean violently hits the shore of the wild beaches, on the other side the Caribbean Sea meets a strait of quiet white and pink sand beaches surrounded by an area which is not as developed as other beaches in the Caribbean Sea.

With only 24 km in length and 13 km in width, the island is mainly rocky and flat, with numerous caves, the most famous being the Indian Cave, where you can see old Amerindian inscriptions carved in the stone

Also, there are other rocks which can be climbed for the most fabulous view of the island. And still, you can discover the underwater caves, which are the perfect choice for scuba diving lovers.
